Pronounce scared and care

Adam Bradshaw is the famous foreigner teacher. His TV programs are in many channels in Thailand. The breakdown is one of those programs. It is available on modern nine TV at 16:05 pm. Today Adam taught to pronounce “scared and care”.
In the breakdown program, Adam taught to practice to pronounce scared and care in answering question section. For pronounce scared, you should divide word into 3 syllables; /s/, /kɛː/ and /d/. If this word does not end with –d, it means into another meaning. Scare means make another people fear. Then, people should divide into 2 syllables for care. It is /kɛ/ and /aː/. Example of this word, I do not care. You should pronounce the other like care include fair and bear.
Concluding, each word in American pronunciation has the different pronounce. When you pronounce wrong sound, it can change the meaning and context. Scared and care is one example that you should be careful to speak.

In my opinion, there are two accents of English pronunciation. From Adam pronounce, he taught in American English. However, you should practice to pronounce to communicate with foreigner understanding despite what it is accent.

Local newspaper editors raise new fears after Leveson

     The world has been developed into the internet society. Everything was been changed on the electronics. The newspaper also changes, too. However, there are many newspapers that still publish the news in the original form.
Local newspapers were fighting for their very lives even before Lord Leveson set out his recommendations for press regulation in the wake of the phone-hacking scandal. Although, there are down of selling, they still believe that the local newspaper is vital partner of community. Lord Leveson said, "Their demise would be a huge setback for communities [where they report on local politics, occurrences in the local courts, local sports and the like] and would be a real loss to our democracy."
To sum up, although; electrics medias have been influenced to new generation, the old thing still have valuable to continues like local newspaper. Leveson believes it is the heart partner of local lifestyle.

Week 9: Learning Log - Teaching Process


Teaching Process


Teacher explains about the process to make in class. It's important to creating learning of students. There are 4 components include standard & indicator, task, process and evaluation.
There are 4 processes for making class. The first is standards and indicators. Teacher decides objective to appropriate with standard & indicator. Then, it is task include workout, paper, project, group work and individual work. It helps student develop their ability. Next, teaching process is an important factor in classroom. In this topic, teacher should apply all 4 skills in learning management. It is the method that teacher use to communicate with students. Lastly, the evaluation can promote student achievement by using Rubric criteria. This criterion is basic evaluation in teaching language.
When teacher give example about applying teaching in class of my friends, it can make me understand about teaching method and lesson plans more. In each steps of process of making learning must be clear and easy to understand. 

I think, there are many things that important to make a lesson plan for teaching. But the objective is the most important because it can evaluate abilities of students that they can do more or less.

Indies big leap to cheaper gaming

Playing game is the main entertaining for all people. Each product that is success game had substantial investment. After people turn to play game on mobile phones, the game makers need improve their games, too.
For Indies game maker, expensive game is not the problem of them. Although, the number of really big game releases - known as "triple A games" - is slowly decreasing with the move towards mobile devices for gaming, this also creates a great opportunity for smaller developers to make a breakthrough into the industry by offering their content for lower prices, or even free. Charge with this is only $5 for 10 games.
Concluding, it is an ideal to spark ideas for game makers around the world. It is unnecessary to be famous and expensive games to play. Saving expense to play is a good choice of gamer.

Week 8: Reading - Mongolian presidential election


Mongolian presidential election

Democracy in the modern age always happens with election. Most people who live in democracy countries believe in election that will bring equality to their living. Moreover, it’s also vast mineral riches to use after decided the president. 
Mongolians go to the polls on 26 June to elect a president. While the election is unlikely to change the country's immediate course, it may decide how its vast mineral riches are used. There are three candidates were put forward in 2013; Tsakhia Elbegdorj was fielded by the ruling Democratic Party, MP Badmaanyambuu Bat-erdene was nominated by the main opposition Mongolian People's Party and Health Minister Natsag Udval was nominated by the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party. This selection is the big change of Mongolia because the population has responsible mining and the fair distribution of the new-found wealth that are among the key issues in the election dominated by "resource nationalism". In addition, campaigning has been calm and low-key. There are relatively few billboards in the streets, but campaigners have been holding rallies across Mongolia, handing out leaflets and party newspapers.
Concluding, whoever has been to the president of Mongolia; the country is also change with resource nationalism. People are hope this election will have the good changing.

Week 7: Listening - The world is whether or not aliens


The world is whether or not aliens


Adam Bradshaw is the famous foreigner teacher. His TV programs are in many channels in Thailand. The breakdown is one of those programs. It is available on modern nine TV at 16:05 pm. Today Adam talked about ”the world is whether or not aliens.
In “what’s happen in” section, Adam talked about one of interesting topic of debate around the world is whether or not aliens exist. He took a poll on his Facebook page asking whether or not Thai people believe in aliens. In his opinion, he wouldn’t deny the possibility of life on other planets considering that the universe is gargantuan. There are so many other planets and galaxies out there. The world is just a tiny little speck in the universe. However, he himself is still not convinced because he has never seen an alien or a UFO with his own eyes. It’s same Thai phrase in “hearing ten people claim to see something is not like seeing it with your own eyes”.
To sum up, the phrase that you should use to tell that you don't believe if don't see with your own eyes is “hearing ten people claim to see something is not like seeing it with your own eyes”

I love this TV program. Everyone should be lifelong learner. English is also vital language that is unlimited to learn. It’s have lots of words and phrases. These will help you develop communication skills as much as you learn.
